ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) This writ petition has been filed for a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2021 and to remove encroachments in S.Nos.407 and 427 of Government Porambokku Land Situated at Pachapanatti Village, Denkanikottai Taluk, Krishnagiri District.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner brought to our notice a copy of the revenue records to show that the land covered in S.No.407 is classified as pathai (passage) and a copy of the certificate issued by the Village Administrative Officer dated nil, showing that the land covered in S.No.427 is classified as 'river' (waterbody).

3. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that action would be taken on the representation of the petitioner, as per the revenue records, for removal of the encroachments.

4. Recording the said submission of learned Special Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to take action as per the revenue records and remove the encroachments. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There will be no order as to costs.
