Today, when the matter is taken up hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that this Writ Petition has been filed seeking for Mandamus, cannot be maintained, since the 2nd respondent had already by an order dated 28.02.2022, rejected the application of the petitioner. He would further submit that the 2nd respondent has also filed a counter. The counter is taken on record.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the present Writ Petition and also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
