ORDER
Seeking a direction to the respondent to register the complaint of the petitioner dated 22.05.2016 sent to the respondent police and to investigate the same in accordance with law, the petitioner has come up with this petition. 2.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.312 of 2016 before the respondent.
Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry expeditiously and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttarpradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1, otherwise close the petition under due intimation to the petitioner.
