Seeking a direction to the respondent to register the complaint of the petitioner dated 22.05.2016 sent to the respondent police and to investigate the same in accordance with law, the petitioner has come up with this petition. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that on the complaint given by the Revenue Inspector, for the same transaction, the respondent police have registered a case in Crime No.752 of 2016 on 24.05.2016 for offence under Section 4A(1b) of the Tamil Nadu Open Places (Prevention of Disfigurement) Act, 1959.
