PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of BNSS Act, 2023 to enlarge the Petitioner on bail in the event of her arrest, by the respondent police, pending investigation of the case in Crime No.255 of 2024 on the file of the respondent.

The petitioner/accused who apprehends arrest for the alleged offences under Sections 294(b), 506(1) of the Indian Penal Code r/w Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, on the file of the respondent police, in Crime No.255 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate, on instructions would submit that the petitioner/accused is not required in connection with Crime No.255 of 2024; that the petitioner is required for enquiry in Crime No.104 of 2025; and that he is not an accused in the said case.
3. In view of the above said submission, the respondent may issue summons to the petitioner, if he is required for enquiry. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is closed.
