Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records pertaining to the issue of the order in Proceedings Bearing Naka No. B1/804/2013 dated 07.09.2013 by the District Manager, Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation Limited (TASMAC), Office of the District Manager, Chennai Central District, B4, Ambattur Industrial Estate Chennai - 600058, the First Respondent herein and quash the same.

(through video conference) Mr. K.Sathish Kumar, Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the First Respondent states that the relief as sought in this Writ Petition has become infructuous in view of the fact that the period of licence had been lapsed and fresh licence has been issued in favour of third parties for subsequent period. He has filed a memo dated 28.10.2020 to that effect through e-mail, which is placed record.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed No costs.
