ORDER
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.

This writ petition has been filed directing the respondents to conduct the general body elections pertaining to Sri Lakshmi Narayana Co-operative Urban Bank Ltd (No.1484), Tiruvarur, afresh by giving opportunity to the petitioner for the co-operative urban bank desirous to contest in the election. 3.It appears that the petitioner has sent a representation dated 05.01.2020 to the 1st respondent to conduct election for the 2nd respondent. However, till date the election has not been conducted.
4.The learned counsel for the respondents submits that they are unable to confirm whether the election has been conducted or not in the present writ petition. 5.Considering the same, I am inclined to dispose this writ petition by directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.01.2020, and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In case, the election has not been held for the 2nd respondent/Sri Lakshmi Narayana Cooperative Urban Bank Ltd, the election shall be held within the six months period in accordance with law.
6.This writ petition stands disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
