O R D E R

Mr.M.Rajasekar, learned standing counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to register and execute the sale deed in her favour in respect of Plot No.436, Thiru.Ve.Ka. Street, Nehru Nagar, Phase-II, Velacherry, Chennai-600 042, measuring to an extent of 163.68, by considering her representations dated 14.03.2015 and 16.07.2015.

3. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that even though such plot was allotted in her favour long ago and the petitioner is also in possession and enjoyment of the same for the past 50 years, also by paying the entire costs of the land as fixed by the respondents, the sale deed has not been executed in favour of the petitioner so far. Therefore, the petitioner has made the representations on 20.05.2014, 14.03.2015 and 16.07.2015. As those representations are not considered by the respondents so far, the present writ petition is filed by the petitioner.

4. The learned standing counsel for the respondents submitted that the request of the petitioner will be considered and appropriate action will be taken within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the above stated facts and circumstances, the respondents are directed to dispose of the petitioner's representations and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
