ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to produce the body of the petitioner's minor daughter Sharmila, aged about 16 years, before this Court, from the illegal custody of the 3rd respondent and hand over her to the petitioner.

On 11.03.2021, this Court passed the following order: "Mr.R.Prathap Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. 2.
Notice to the respondents 3 to 5 returnable by 23.03.2021.

This Court contacted Santhanam Peter, third respondent herein, over Landline No.45587887 and he stated that his father Maria Singa Rayer (detenu), aged about 96 years, is residing with him in his house and is bedridden on account of his old age.
This matter stands adjourned to 23.03.2021 for the respondents 3 to 5 to enter appearance and file their counter, if any."

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that Mariya Singa Rayar (detenu) died on 19.04.2021.
