This is a petition to condone the delay of 684 days in filing the writ appeal.

Heard Mr. T.K.Saravanan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the petitioners and Ms.R.J. Radhika, learned counsel for the respondent.

Though this Court is satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit accompanying this miscellaneous petition, considering the huge delay of 684 days in filing the writ appeal, the said delay is condoned on condition that the petitioners pay a sum of Rs.2,000/- to the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Madras High Court, Chennai, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

Upon production of receipt for payment of costs, this civil miscellaneous petition shall stand ordered.
