The prayer sought for in this petition is to expedite the trial pending before the learned II Additional District and Sessions Judge, Chennai.

2. According to the petitioner, out of 12 witnesses, 10 witnesses have been examined.

3. In view of the limited prayer sought for in the petition, there shall be a direction to the learned II Additional District and Sessions Judge, Chennai, to expedite the trial in S.C. No. 212 of 2013 and complete the trial within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
