V.Babu ..Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to cancel the Patta in Survey No.82/2 with patta No.640 at Thandarampattu Taluk, Tiruvannamalai -606 707 illegally obtained in favour of the Respondents No.5 to 14 and to restore the patta, by considering the petitioners representation dated 09.01.2026 and pass. 2. In view of the existence of alternative remedy of appeal under Section 12 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Passbook Act, 1983, the present writ petition is not maintainable.
