Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 6 to remove the encroachment made by the 7th respondent on the public road in S.No.145/1 of Odaiveli Street, Ariyankuppam, Puducherry, based on the eviction notices issued by the 4th respondent in N.No.20-66/2017-Va.Ru/A.Ko.Pa/510 dated 01.09.2021 and N.No.2066/2017- Va.Ru/A.Ko.Pa/667 dated 16.11.2021. (Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.S.Doraisamy, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.V.Vasanthakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, for respondent Nos.1 to 6 and Mr.P.Jegan, learned counsel for respondent No.7.

2. The learned counsel for respondent Nos.1 to 6, on instructions, submits that in case there is no impediment, then the

encroachment on the subject road would be removed within twelve weeks.

In view of the said statement, no orders are necessary. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
