The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to file a final report before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Katpadi in Cr.No.110 of 2021 in connection with offences under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506 (ii) of IPC and under Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 against 17 persons based on the statement recorded from de-facto complainant dated 05.08.2021 and proceed according to the law.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that investigation in Crime No. 110 of 2021 for the offences under Section 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506 (ii) of IPC and under Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 is going on and the respondent will be able to complete the enquiry and file the final report within a period of six months.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of with the direction to the Respondent police to complete the enquiry and file the final report within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
