PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, pleased to issue a Writ of Certiorarifed Mandamus, calling for the records of the 3rd respondent in his notice No.03/H4/PS/2022 dated 24.02.2022 and quash the same and direct the 3rd respondent to give permission to conduct a demonstration with Microphone opposite to Taluk office at Thiruvennainallur, Villupuram district on 07.03.2022.

O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records of the 3rd respondent in his notice No.03/H4/PS/2022 dated 24.02.2022 and quash the same and direct the 3rd respondent to give permission to conduct a demonstration with Microphone opposite to Taluk office at Thiruvennainallur, Villupuram district on 07.03.2022.

2. At the outset, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had sought permission to conduct demonstration on 07.03.2022. However, the period has elapsed. He would further submit that in view of the above, the petitioner may be permitted to give a fresh https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

application seeking to conduct demonstration on 17.03.2022 and the respondents may be directed to consider the same and pass orders in accordance with the orders passed by this Court in "Durai Sankar & others .v. Secretary to the Government, Home Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, Fort St. George, Chennai - 600 009 & others" reported in 2014-5-L.W.865.

3. In view of the above, in the event of, if the petitioner files a fresh representation to conduct demonstration on 17.03.2022, the 3rd respondent shall consider the same in accordance with the mandate of the Judgment of this Court in "Durai Sankar & others .v. Secretary to the Government, Home Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, Fort St. George, Chennai - 600 009 & others" reported in 2014-5-L.W.865, referred supra and pass orders in accordance with law.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above directions. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
