O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the orders of this Court dated 15.12.2021 made in W.P.No.26630 of 2021. 1/3

2. In the said order, this Court directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.10.2021, and pass orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks.

3. Since the said order has not been complied with, according to the petitioner, they moved this contempt petition.

4. After taking notice, on behalf of the respondent, when the case is taken up for hearing today, Ms. P.T.Ramadevi, learned Standing counsel has submitted that, the orders of this Court has been complied with by disposing the said representation, as the same was placed before the meeting of the respondent Corporation on 09.04.2022, where, as per the Resolution No.23, it was resolved to extend the time for completing the work of contract given to various members of the petitioner Association for certain period, thereby, the complete disposal has been given to the said representation given by the petitioner and thus, the orders of this Court has been complied with, she contended.

The learned Standing counsel has also produced a copy of the Resolution dated 09.04.2022 and the copy of the same has also been served on the other side who on receipt of the same, would submit that, since this order has been passed subject to verification, the contempt petition can be disposed of .

6. Having considered the said submissions and taking into account the compliance made by the respondent by passing the said Resolution, this Court feels that, no further adjudication is required in this Contempt Petition, accordingly, it is to be closed. Hence this contempt petition is closed.
