Krishnamoorthi v. The State Rep By
Crl.O.P.No.5323 of 2022 Crl.O.P.No.
Dr.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.
The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 5 & 7(1) of Lotteries Regulation Act, 1998 in Crime No.184 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The petitioner is the habitual offender in selling the banned lottery tickets. Eventhough the number of tickets seized appears to be only 10, considering the antecedents of the petitioner herein, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
