ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to rectify the alleged UDR errors for the property morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the subject property. He had given a representation on 09.01.2025 to the 1st respondent for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections, if any, from the Page No.2 of 4

neighbouring land owners as well as any other party, whom the 1st respondent deems fit, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

5. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 1st respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's representation, dated 09.01.2025 seeking rectification of the alleged UDR error for the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner, and hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party whom the 1st respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
