O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.01.2017 to issue patta in his favour in respect of the land and house property situate at Keezhperambalur Village comprised in (1) Joint Patta No.2192, Survey No.338/9A (except 10 cents) (2) Patta No.1168 - Survey No.342/4 and (3) Joint Patta No.1027 - Survey No.2041/17D (except 20 cents).

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 02.01.2017, the respondent has not passed any order so far. 3.Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders in accordance with law.

4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.01.2017 for issuance of patta in respect of the lands mentioned above and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
