This is an application essentially seeking permission of this Court for payment of sum of Rs.1,25,000/- to Shri.S.Mahendran, Advocate, towards his professional fee, out of the funds of the company in liquidation. 1.1 A further prayer is also sought by the learned Official Liquidator, for ratification of initial payment of Rs.25,000/-, made to Shri.S.Mahendran, Advocate, also towards professional fee. 2.

It is averred by the learned Official Liquidator that Shri.S.Mahendran, Advocate, was engaged for prosecuting proceedings in the Supreme Court. The dates on which, the said Advocate appeared, are set out in Paragraph No.10 of the report.

The Order of the Supreme Court, dismissing the appeal, i.e., Criminal Appeal No.1676 of 2015 is appended to the report. The said Order is dated 18.04.2016.

Having regard to the averments made in the report, prayers made, both for payment of Rs.1,25,000/- and, for ratification of initial payment made to Shri.S.Mahendran, Advocate, are allowed. 5.
