With the consent of both sides, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The case of the petitioner is that his father Mr.M.Rajamanickam had owned land and house in P.N.Patty Village, Mettur Taluk, Salem District, which was acquired for putting up Mettur Thermal Power Project in the year 2002. As per the rehabilitation scheme, the petitioner is entitled for appointment under compassionate grounds. The petitioner would state that he had studied 10th std and ITI (welder) in the regular stream which was approved by the respondent Board. 3.The petitioner was selected for appointment to the post of Assessor Grade-II by the second respondent, taking into consideration the 10th std only and his ITI qualification was ignored at the time of appointment. application to the second respondent on 31.08.2015 to provide technical post or helper taking into account of his ITI qualification.

Subsequently, the petitioner sent another representation on 09.11.2015. Since, no order has been passed, the petitioner filed the present writ petition. 4.Heard the submissions of Mr.M.R.Jothimanian, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and M/s.P.R.Dhilip Kumar who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 5.This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the second respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 31.08.2015 and 09.11.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
