ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to conduct the land survey in his land, Survey Nos.251/1 and 257/2 at Somanahalli Village, Dharmapuri District and consider his representation dated 10.01.2017, within a time frame.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2017 for the issuance of patta, the respondents 2 and 3 have not considered the same yet.

3. Mr.S.V.Doraisolaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader, taking notice for the respondents submitted that the respondents 2 and 3 may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and conduct survey of the petitioner's land in

accordance with law.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2017 and survey his land, in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
