ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent not to harass the petitioners in Crime No.Not known of 2016, on the file of the Inspector of Police, Town Police Station, Chengalpet District.

2. It is the case of the petitioners that pursuant to a murder case, the respondent police is often calling the petitioners under the guise of enquiry and harassing them. Hence, the petition.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that no such harassment was made by the respondent police and

pursuant to a murder case, the respondent police is suspecting one Dilip Kumar, the son of petitioners 1 and 2, who is absconding. Hence, the respondent police is searching the said Dilip Kumar and in this regard, the petitioners are required to cooperate with the police authorities to know the whereabouts of the said Dilip Kumar.

4. The said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded. Since there is no such harassment by the respondent police, the present criminal original petition is closed. The petitioners are directed to cooperate with the investigation to be conducted by the respondent police.
