Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to survey the petitioner's land an extent of one ground in Survey No.9, covered in Patta No.5; and 16 1/2 Cents comprised in New Survey No.1442, covered in Patta No.1740 situated in Puliyur Village, Kodambakkam, Chennai - 34, as shown in the plans annexed to Will dated 18.09.1972, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 19.11.2014 followed by reminder dated 22.01.2015 and on payment of Survey charges vide Challan Dated 15.09.2014 and 02.03.2015, within a reasonable time to be fixed by this Court.

By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner claims that she is the owner of the land measuring an extent of one ground in Survey No.9, covered in Patta No.5 and 16 1/2 Cents comprised in New Survey No.1442, covered in Patta No.1740 situated in Puliyur Village, Kodambakkam, Chennai - https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
34, and she submitted a representation to the respondent for measuring the lands and since the said representation has not been disposed of, she sent reminders dated 22.01.2015 and 16.02.2015 respectively and since she has not been favoured with any response, she came forward to file this writ petition.
3. Heard Mr.P.Kumaresan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Pattabiraman, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice for the respondent.
4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider the representation dated 22.01.2015 submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after putting on notice to the persons concerned, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
