ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus to direct the respondents to frame Adhoc or Special rules governing petitioner's employment in Anna Centenary Library or alternatively to make applicable the benefits conferred by the Labour Legislations or Statutes governing the employment with Anna Centenary Library.

2. When the writ petition is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1, 3 and 4 submitted that already Adhoc Rules relating to the post of Assistant Librarian and Information Officer, Librarian and Information Assistant Grade 1 and Grade-II in Anna Centenary Library in Public Libraries Department had been framed in G.O.(Ms) No.44 School Education (PL.1) Department 2/5

dated 23.02.2016 and the same has also been notified in gazette No.51 dated 23.02.2016. In view of the Rules being framed and notified, the relief sought for in the present writ petition has become infructuous. It is also submitted that the petitioner is now working in the Library at Madurai.

3. Recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.

4. There shall be no order as to costs.
