Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus calling for the records relating to the proceedings of the second respondent in C.O.C.No.32 of 2014 dated 02.07.2014 and quash the same and produce the detenue Mainavathi, aged 28 years, W.o Sundar, TPDA No.972 now detained in Special Prison for women, Tiruchirappalli before this Court and set her at liberty.

The petitioner, who is the mother of the detenue, Mainavathy, wife of Sundar, aged about 28 years, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 02.07.2014 against her daughter branding her as a "Bootlegger" under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 [Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982].
2. It is stated by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the impugned detention order dated 02.07.2014 had https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
been revoked. Hence, the Habeas corpus Petition has become infructuous. He has also made an endorsement to that effect. 3.Under such circumstances, the Habeas corpus petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
