ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the 2nd respondent to register the complaint in C.No.933 dated 14.03.2015 and also further directing the 2nd respondent to complete investigation as expeditiously possible.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. It is seen that a complaint was given by the petitioner in the year 2012. A petition enquiry was conducted in CSR.No.111 of 2012, which the petitioner now wants to revive. Hence, in view of lapse of time, such a direction cannot be granted. It is the case of the petitioner, that the opposite party had collected sugarcane from 21 farmers and has absconded. There seems to be some genuineness in the grievance of the petitioner. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh complaint to the Inspector of Police, R-4, Pagandai Kuttu Road Police Station, giving the details about the opposite party and on such complaint being given, the same shall be enquired into and action taken in accordance with law.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
