JAYACHANDRAN CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS PETITION No.3001 of 2022 IN CRL OP.793/2022 MANIKANDAN @ SUTHIMANI [ PETITIONER/ACCUSED ] Vs THE STATION HOUSE OFFICER [ RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT ] MUDALIARPET POLICE STATION, PUDUCHERRY, (CRIME NO.107 OF 2019) Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to relax the condition that `directing the petitioner to appear before the Respondent Police at 10.30 a.m. until further order` imposed by this Hon'ble Court, in and by order dated 12.01.2022, passed in Crl.O.P.No.793 of 2022 on the file of this Hon'ble Court and pass such other suitable orders and thus render justice.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.A.R.SAKTHIVEL, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR. V.BALAMURUGANE, Public Prosecutor for Puducherry on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- The petitioner herein, who jumped Bail, was subsequently arrested and granted bail on condition that he should report before the respondent Police daily. The present petition is filed to relax the said condition on the ground that on completion of investigation, final Report filed and the same has been committed to the Sessions Court and assigned in S.C.No.47 of 2021 and pending before the learned III Additional District and Sessions Court, Puducherry. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.

2. Taking note of the fact that the petitioner is one of the accused in a murder case involving explosive substance and he has already jumped bail, in order to ensure his presence during the Trial and examination of witness, the Bail condition is modified to the effect that, he shall report before the concerned Sessions Court, where the case is pending, every Friday at 4.30 p.m. until further orders.
