This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondent to receive and register the Settlement Deed executed by the petitioner in favour of her daughter.
2.Heard Mr.G.Rnganathan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.R.Sasikumar, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent.
3.The learned Government Advocate on instruction submitted that even though the online application was made and the token was generated, the Settlement Deed was not presented physically to the respondent and therefore, no registration took place.
4.Per contra, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent was not receiving the Settlement Deed and registering the said document.
3/5 5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the submission made on either side, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to present the Settlement Deed before the respondent and respondent shall register the same, if it is otherwise in order. 6.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
