O R D E R

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to dispose the application filed in E.A. 155 of 2014 in E.P. 145 of 2013 in O.S. 3306 of 1993, pending on the file of Principal District Munsif, Alandur expeditiously.

2. Considering the nature of order going to be passed in this Civil Revision Petition, which would cause no prejudice to the respondents, notice to the respondents are dispensed with.

3. The petitioner is a decree holder in the suit in O.S. 3306 of 1993, on the file of District Munsif Court, Tambaram, and the decree was for recovery of possession. To execute the decree, the petitioner has filed the Execution Petition in the year 2013. In the above E.P., the respondents 1 to 12 filed an application under Sec. 47 of C.P.C., in E.A. 155 of 2014. The above E.A. is pending for more than six years, and no order has been passed. Hence, he has filed this Civil Revision Petition seeking to dispose the E.A. expeditiously.

4. I have considered the submissions made by learned counsel appearing for petitioner and perused the records carefully.

5. Considering the limited prayer sought in this Civil Revision Petition, without going into the merits of the case, and also considering the fact that, the E.P. was filed in the year 2013 and E.A. was filed in the year 2014, which was pending for more than six years, the learned Principal District Munsif, Alandur is directed to dispose the E.A. 155 of 2014 in E.P. 145 of 2013 in O.S. 3306 of 1993 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
