Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to initiate land acquisition proceedings dated 09.03.2007 made in W.P.Nos.47782 of 2006, 6005 of 2007 and 6355 of 2007 and complete the proceedings within time frame as directed by this Court to enable the petitioner to get the compensation to his land.

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner and three others, in their joint representation dated 27.09.2013, requested the second respondent to comply with the common order dated 09.03.2007 made in W.P.Nos.47782/2006, 6005/2007 and 6355/2007 and since he has not https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

been favoured with any response, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.S.Pattabiraman, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice for the respondents.

4. Though the petitioner has prayed for larger relief, this Court is of the view that it would be suffice to direct the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 27.09.2013 within a stipulated time.

5. Hence, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 27.09.2013 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner. No costs.
