This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the complaint dated 30.04.2016 sent by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. Though the matter was taken up for final hearing, no representation for the petitioner.

4. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint dated 30.04.2016 has been sent by post by the petitioner to the Director General of Police, the Hon'ble Chief Minister and also to the Inspector of Police, J4 Police Station, Kotturpuram, whereas the petitioner has not impleaded the Inspector of Police, J4 Police Station as respondent in this petition.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the Inspector of Police, J4 Kotturpuram Police Station conducted enquiry and has advised the petitioner to approach the Inspector of Police, J1 Saidapet Police Station, for want of territorial jurisdiction. A communication dated 21.06.2016 has also been sent by the Inspector of Police, J4 Kotturpuram Police Station to the petitioner informing him as stated above. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

6. Recording the same this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to go in person and appear before the Inspector of Police, J1 Saidapet Police Station and seek remedy in accordance with law.
