Respondent Prayer:- Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act to punish the respondent for willful disobeying the order of this Court passed in W.P.No.5810 of 2015 dated 04.03.2015.

ORDER

Seeking to punish the respondent for willful disobeying the order of this Court passed in W.P.No.5810 of 2015 dated 04.03.2015, the petitioner is before this Court with this Contempt Petition.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the

learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3.Today, the Deputy Thasildar from the Office of the Taluk Office, Alandur, Chennai is present in Court and he submitted that, on account of the bifurcation of the area, the Government require further time to pass orders as per the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.5810 of 2015 dated 04.03.2015.

4.While disposing of the said writ petition, this Court issued the following direction:- "5. In the light of the above facts, without going into the merits of the petitioner's contentions, there will be a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.06.2013 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and giving him an opportunity to personal hearing, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

5.In the light of the submission made on behalf of the respondent, the respondent is granted six weeks time from

the date of receipt of a copy of this order, to pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 24.06.2013, in terms of the aforesaid direction.
