This writ petition has been filed to quash the impugned order of rejection passed by the 2nd respondent in Rc.No.44318/2022/GE2.1 dated 13.01.2023 and consequently direct the respondents to accommodate the petitioner in any of the vacancies in the cadre of Assistant Director by way of District transfer from Erode to Coimbatore District.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation on 30.06.2023. Hence nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication. Recording the same, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
