O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction, directing the respondent to register a case, based on the complaint of the petitioner referred by the Judicial Magistrate, Ariyalur filed under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. in Crl.M.P.No.10808 of 2015 dated 17.12.2015 in D.No.5311, and to investigate and to file a final report within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 17.12.2015, a case in Crime No.8 of 2016 was registered by the respondent for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 452, 323, 324, 354, 307 and 506 (ii) IPC r/w Section 3 of PPD Act.

3. In view of the above stated position, the respondent is directed to investigate the case in Crime No.8 of 2016 and file a final report in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
