After the murder of the petitioner's brother's son, police protection was extended to the petitioner from 14.01.2017 onwards. The present petition has been filed seeking for additional gun man police protection since the petitioner http://www.judis.nic.in apprehends risk to his life and liberty.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on the other hand, submitted that police protection that has been extended is sufficient to safe guard the petitioner's life and liberty.

3. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he would be satisfied if his request in his representation for seeking additional gun man production is considered.

4. It is seen that the petitioner has given a representation in this regard on 22.02.2017.

5. Hence, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.02.2017 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above observation,this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
