Mr.S.John J.Raja Singh, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents and is armed with instructions to enable final disposal of this Writ Petition, even at the stage of admission.

2. The petitioner files this Writ Petition seeking disposal of representation dated 15.11.2023, wherein she has sought correction of her age on the legal heirship certificate bearing No.TN 7202308261460, issued on 15.09.2023.

3. According to the petitioner, her age is 62 as per her Aadhar and all other requisite documents. However, the legal heirship certificate issued on the demise of her husband on 05.08.2023 reflects her age as 48.

4. Despite a representation being made by her daughter on 05.10.2023, there was no response from the respondents. Hence, the petitioner has made an appeal as against the legal heirship certificate on 15.11.2023.

5. Mr.Singh, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents would accede to the receipt of appeal and would also agree that the same would be disposed within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

6. Hence, mandamus is issued to Revenue Divisional Officer/R2 to consider appeal dated 15.11.2023, hear the petitioner as well as any others, who may be deemed necessary for proper adjudication of the matter and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law and and all applicable Rules, Regulations and Government Orders, within a period of six (6) weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order.
