Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd Respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.04.2015 and sanction petitioner's late father's DCRG amount. For Petitioner :

ORDER

The father of the petitioner worked as an Assistant in the Corporation of Chennai, Revenue Department. The third respondent is the mother of the petitioner. She has been living separately from https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the petitioner's father for the past 15 years. Due to the dispute between the father and the mother, the petitioner and her sister are living with her father till his death on 16.09.2010.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the third respondent gave no objection to grant DCRG amount to the petitioner and to her sister, who are the daughters of the third respondent, the respondents 1 and 2 have not paid the same.

3. A counter affidavit is also filed by the third respondent / mother of the petitioner stating that she has no objection to grant DCRG to her daughters.

4. In view of the same, a direction is issued to the respondents 1 and 2 to settle the DCRG amount payable due to the death of the father of the petitioner along with interest to the petitioner and to her sister, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
