Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.
2. It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the complaint given by the petitioner was transferred by the second respondent to the Central Crime Branch (CCB), Chennai on 20.1.2015 as the value of the property exceeds Rs.5,00,000/-.
3. The Inspector of Police, CCB, Chennai, is directed to conduct enquiry and if any cognizable offence is made out, further action shall be taken following the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1 (Lalita Kumari V. Government of Uttar Pradesh and others).
4. The petitioner is also directed to co-operate with the CCB police for enquiry.
