The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents from acquiring the petitioner's patta land situated in Survey No.147/1C, Madhanancheri Village, Vaniyampadi Taluk, Vellore District, to an extent of 0-19.50 Ares for the proposed construction by the respondents except due process of law.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondents proposed to acquire the petitioner's patta land and hence, the petitioner filed this writ petition for the aforesaid relief. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the Government acquired the lands in Survey Nos.148/1 and 148/3 for the development of Educational Department to construct a High School and the land in Survey No.147/1C belongs to the petitioner and it was not acquired for the purpose of construction of School. 4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
