This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police "Not to Harass" the petitioner in connection with the complaint filed by Mrs.Vasanthi, W/o.Subramanian, in Crime No. Not known of 2018 on the file of the respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent.

3. On a complaint given by one Vasanthi, petition enquiry is pending. Under such circumstances, blanket order of 'not to harass' cannot be passed. The petitioner shall cooperate in the enquiry and during the course of enquiry, she shall not be harassed. However, if any cognizable offence is made out, this order would not be a shield against the arrest of the accused.
