O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to issue a computer extract of Patta No.2983 in the name of the petitioner in respect of the property of an

extent of 0.5 cents in Survey No.83/7A of Padianallur Village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvellore District pursuant to the application dated 27.02.2015 made by the petitioner under token No.1187.

2.Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's application and pass orders in accordance with law.

3.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 27.02.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

4.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Index : No 13.04.2017 Internet : Yes va
