O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the complaint filed by the petitioner dated 23.3.2012 in C.S.R.No.72/CSR/F2/12 and to direct the respondent to file a final report within the time that may be fixed by this Court. 2.

Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

It is seen that the complaint is of the year 2012 and that the Police are not able to even trace the complaint. In such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh complaint and on such complaint being made, the respondent Police is directed to conduct enquiry, and during the course of the enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, following the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari Vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1.
