Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to (i) To amend the petition Cr.No.276 of 2018 instead of Cr.No.276 of 2017 in Crl.OP.No.17185/2019 order dated 25.07.2019. (CRL.M.P.NO.2738/2020) (ii) To extent the time to execute the surety in the above Crl.O.P.No.17185 of order dated 25.06.2019.

(CRL.M.P.NO.2740/2020) Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.P.MUTHAMIZH SELVAKUMAR, Advocate for the petitioners, [IN BOTH THE PETITIONS] and of M/S.M.MOHAMED RIYAZ, Additional Public Prosecutor, on behalf of the Respondents, [IN BOTH THE PETITIONS] the court made the following order:- These petitions have been field to amend the petition in Crime No.276 of 2018 instead of Crime No.276 of 2017 in Crl.O.P.No.17185 of 2019 and to extend the time to execute the surety in the said petition.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has wrongly noted the Crime Number as Crime No.276 of 2018 instead of 276 of 2017.

3. After a lapse of 7 months, the petitioner has come forward with these petitions to amend and extend the time to execute the sureties as ordered by this Court. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to amend the Crime Number as well as to extend the time to execute the sureties.

4. Hence, these petitions are dismissed with liberty to file a fresh anticipatory bail.
