O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 23.07.2019 to mutate the revenue records bearing Survey No.321/5 at Veliyanallur Village, Nemili Taluk, Ranipet District.

2. In view of the order is going to be passed in the present Writ Petition, which will not prejudice the interest of the 2nd respondent, the notice to the 2nd respondent is dispensed with.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that, he is in possession and enjoyment of property in Survey No.321/5 at Veliyanallur Village, Nemili Taluk, Ranipet District. Earlier, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in a civil dispute, a judgment and decree was passed in favour of petitioner in Second Appeal No.1288 of 2006 dated 03.06.2019. Thereafter, the petitioner has filed an application seeking for patta before the 1st respondent, however, so far, his application was not considered and no patta has been issued to him. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner.

4. Considering the limited prayer sought in the Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application and to pass suitable orders on merits in accordance with law after giving opportunity to the petitioner as well as 2nd respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
