O R D E R

Originally, a writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the respondents to demarcate the boundaries of the petitioners' land in Survey No.70/2C in Aachangkuttappati village, Salem. This Court by an order dated 27.09.2016 directed the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation and pass suitable orders. Alleging that the above order has not been complied with, the present contempt petition has been filed.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the second respondent is ready and willing to measure the property, but only the petitioners are not co-operating with the second respondent to conduct survey and measure the property.

3. In the above circumstances, the second respondent is directed to measure the property on 21.10.2019 and the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent and co-operate with them to measure the property.

4. With the above directions, this contempt petition is closed. No costs.
