O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 11.11.2024 and take decision as per the law within the time frame.

2. The petitioner is the owner of the property in Valathur post, Thandalm Village in S.No.16 to an extent of 3 acres. The petitioner's neighbours are also cultivating the lands to an extent of 15.5. cents. The said lands were classified as Poramboke and the petitioner is regularly paying Kist to the Government and Chitta and Adangal stands in the name of the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner and other neighbours have applied for patta, the 1st respondent assured to take steps to provide patta for the lands. During the month of October 2024, the 4th respondent without conducting any panchyat and without any notice erected a display board that 2/6

the lands are Poramboke land. Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents dated 11.11.2024.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the representation dated 11.11.2024 has been sent to the respondents and he has also enclosed the copy of the acknowledgement and tracking sheet showing the same has been duly served on the respondents.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the second respondent is the competent and appropriate authority to consider the representation of the petitioner.

5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

6. The respondents 1 to 3 are directed to consider the above said representation of the petitioner dated 11.11.2024, after giving due notice to the petitioner and to conduct detailed enquiry, opportunity of personal hearing and to consider the documents filed by the petitioner, on merits and 3/6

in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above observations and directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
