ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner/A6, who was arrested on 19.02.2017 in Crime No.42 of 2016 for the alleged offences punishable under Section 395 IPC, seeks bail.

3.Totally six accused involved in this case. The petitioner is the 6th accused. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner along with other accused have stopped the bike of the defacto complainant, assaulted him and robbed his bike and money. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Further, he would submit that the co-accused were granted bail by the Principal Sessions Judge, Puducherry on 06.02.2017. The petitioner is in custody from 19.02.2017. 5.The learned Public Prosecutor(Puducherry) would submit that the investigation is still pending and there is no further need of custodial interrogation.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking note of the fact that the period of incarceration of the petitioner and the co-accused were granted bail by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Puducherry on 19.02.2017, this Court is inclined to bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, it is ordered that the petitioner shall be released on bail, on executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a likesum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Puducherry and on further condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m., for a period of two weeks and thereafter as and when required for interrogation. -sd/- 23/03/2017 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
