PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Court Act, praying to punish the respondents for having committed contempt of court by disobeying the orders of the Court dated 26.04.2019 passed in W.P.No.30008 of 2004.

ORDER

The present petition is filed seeking to punish the respondents for having committed contempt of court by disobeying the orders of this Court dated 26.04.2019 passed in W.P.No.30008 of 2004.

2. Heard Mrs.R.Thenmozhi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Srinivasa Murthy, learned counsel for the respondents.

3. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the respondents herein have preferred an appeal against the order of this Court in W.A.No.4044 of 2019 and the Hon'ble Division Bench has also stayed the order on 03.02.2020. Since the Hon'ble Division Bench has seized off the matter, I deem it appropriate to close this contempt petition and if the petitioner is granted liberty to work out his remedies subject to the outcome of the Writ Appeal, the ends of justice could be secured.

4. In the light of the above observation, the present Contempt Petition stands closed, with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedies, subject to the outcome of the decision to be taken in W.A.No.4044 of 2019.
