This Petition has been filed to grant further extension of time for a period of eight weeks to comply with the order passed by this Court in C.M.P.No.13629 of 2022 in S.A.No.687 of 2022 dated 02.09.2022.

2. This Court by an order dated 02.09.2022 directed the Petitioner/Appellant to deposit 50% of the award amount together with accrued interest and costs, to the credit of L.A.O.P.No.C.M.A.No.01 of 2021, on the file of Subordinate Court, Omalur, Salem District, within a period of four weeks and the said order has not been complied with till date as on date. After expiry of five months, the present Petition has been filed seeking extension of eight weeks to comply with the said order.

arr petition, this petition is allowed and time to comply with the order dated 02.09.2022 passed in C.M.P.No.13629 of 2022 in S.A.No.687 of 2022 is extended till 21.04.2023. The Appellant is directed to deposit 50% of the Award amount together with interest and costs as ordered by this Court on 02.09.2022, on or before 21.04.2023 and the Respondent is permitted to withdraw 50% of the deposited amount.

4. This C.M.P. is ordered accordingly.
